When Huo Yu arrived at the port where Lin Shuwei set sail, the sky was already dark, and it was raining heavily outside, with water everywhere.

“Have the helicopters been arranged? Where are the search and rescue teams?” Huo Yu urgently asked the staff members of the production team she found over here. Her hair was damp, and she was still wearing the thick clothes from the northern region, but she didn’t pay much attention to these things.

“Ms. Huo, the typhoon suddenly accelerated, and the sea is too rough. The rescue teams can’t go out to sea. Going now would be equivalent to courting death!” the staff member said.

“Courting death? So you know it too! Where have you placed my artist’s life? All you’ve done so far is make phone calls, but what have you accomplished? If you won’t go, I will! I’ll buy the helicopter myself and fly it on my own!” Huo Yu angrily exclaimed, her eyes turning red, filled with fierce determination, as if she wanted to devour someone.

“Ms. Huo, this helicopter is not something you can just buy! Please calm down. We’re all trying to find a solution. As long as the wind and waves calm down a bit, the rescue team will definitely go out to rescue them,” the staff member said awkwardly. No one wanted this situation to happen.

“No more waiting! Waiting any longer won’t be enough! If you still want to keep your job, immediately take me to find a helicopter!” Huo Yu was both angry and anxious.

“Sigh…” The staff member reluctantly tried to dissuade her, but Huo Yu saw that time was running out and no longer paid attention to the person. She rushed into the rain and instructed 006 to search the surroundings.

“Host, I’ve spotted a ship in the distance, and Lin Shuwei is on board,” 006 informed Huo Yu while helping her search for the helicopter.

Huo Yu looked towards the distance, and indeed, there was a swaying ship approaching from there.

Since 006 said Lin Shuwei was inside, it must be true.

“How is Lin Shuwei? Is she injured?” Huo Yu asked.

“She’s fine, just a few minor injuries,” 006 replied.

As Huo Yu watched the ship get closer and closer, it finally reached the port and came to a stop. The people on board started to disembark, and among them was Lin Shuwei, wrapped in a blanket.

Huo Yu felt her legs growing weak.

She’s safe, as long as she’s safe!

Huo Yu didn’t approach; instead, she watched as Lin Shuwei got into a car. Eventually, she also entered a car and left.

Huo Yu didn’t notice that someone was filming the harbor in the wind and rain, capturing her in the footage as well.

After getting in the car, Huo Yu realized that she was completely chilled, her clothes soaked through.

She went to a hotel and booked a flight back for the next morning.

Perhaps due to getting drenched in the rain, Huo Yu felt dizzy. She was so exhausted when she boarded the plane that she fell asleep as soon as she laid her head down.

It was the staff who woke her up when the plane landed.

Huo Yu called Xiang Xiaoli to pick her up.

Xiang Xiaoli took Huo Yu to the hospital, where the doctor prescribed medicine and administered an IV drip, advising her to stay at the hospital for observation until her fever subsided before leaving.

On the other hand, Lin Shuwei’s filming work was finished, and she arrived in Fengcheng a few hours later than Huo Yu.

The thrilling experience from the previous day left Lin Shuwei still shaken, with lingering fear in her heart.

It felt like she had gone through life and death, narrowly escaping disaster.

Now, she really wanted to see Lin Shuxiao, Huo Yu, and her cat.

The three of them were not in the same place. Lin Shuwei first went to the hospital to visit Lin Shuxiao, who still needed to undergo some rehabilitation there.

Lin Shuxiao had no knowledge of the dangerous situation on Lin Shuwei’s side, and naturally, Lin Shuwei didn’t tell her either. After spending some time with Lin Shuxiao, Lin Shuwei called Huo Yu.

Lin Shuwei had no idea what Huo Yu was doing, so she decided to go and see her cat first.

“What did you say? The cat is missing!” When Lin Shuwei arrived at the Cat Apartment, the staff member awkwardly informed her as instructed by Xiang Xiaoli.

“What on earth happened?! Where did it go? Don’t you have surveillance here?” Lin Shuwei couldn’t believe it.

She had chosen this place because the environment was excellent, and the staff seemed professional. There were cameras everywhere, and the cat liked it here, so she felt confident leaving the cat here. But now, the cat had gone missing!

“I’m sorry, I apologize. I don’t have the specific details, but I’ll call our assistant manager right away.” The staff member kept apologizing and called Xiang Xiaoli.

Lin Shuwei dared not imagine how the small kitten could have gone missing. Was it picked up by someone or…

How could they be so careless!

Even though Lin Shuwei had a good temper, she was angry.

“Lin Shuwei, I’m really sorry. Here’s what happened. Ms. Huo saw your cat and thought it was cute, so she took it to play. But then, she lost it. Ms. Huo searched everywhere but couldn’t find it. She specially had someone buy two cats of a similar breed to yours and wants to give them to you. You can ask Xiao Liu to take you to see them.” Xiang Xiaoli apologized hurriedly.

“Hold on, are you Ms. Huo’s assistant? How come you’re the assistant manager? Ms. Huo took away the cat? Is this Cat Apartment owned by Ms. Huo?” Lin Shuwei was surprised.

She had been here a few times but never met Xiang Xiaoli or Huo Yu, so she didn’t know who was in charge here. She didn’t expect it to be owned by Huo Yu.

“Yes, that’s right. Ms. Huo is feeling very guilty too. So she bought you two new cats. Go and take a look, you’ll definitely like them,” Xiang Xiaoli said.

“It’s not the same. I only want my cat. Is Ms. Huo there? Can I talk to her? I want to ask when the cat went missing and where it was lost. I want to go and search.” Lin Shuwei shook her head. Little Kitty was different. It had been with her during the most difficult times, like a close and comforting companion.

“Ding, Lin Shuwei is aware that the host lost something, happiness points -1200.”

Huo Yu lay on the hospital bed and heard 006’s report. She felt like crying.

What the hell!

Originally, she only had a total of 1700 happiness points. Lin Shuwei’s thoughts about “the cat” had cost her 100 points, the storm deducted another 100 points, and in between, she had missed “the cat” a few more times. Plus, Huo Yu used 100 points for stock analysis requested by 006, and the day before she spent points to search for Lin Shuwei. She had less than 1200 points left, and now they were all gone!

It had turned into a negative number!

Huo Yu wanted to curse, but the words that came out turned into meows.

Everything went black before her eyes as the blanket covered her.

Huo Yu crawled out from under the blanket and clumsily removed the needle from her wrist. She looked around, feeling helpless and on the verge of tears.

She had turned into a cat, still sick, and her head was a bit dizzy, but she couldn’t receive the usual treatment at this hour.

There was a knock on the door from outside, and Huo Yu struggled to climb onto the table and opened her phone to message Xiang Xiaoli.

It had been a while since she used her paw pads to type, so she was a bit rusty.

“What’s the matter? I’m tired, don’t disturb my sleep,” Huo Yu messaged.

“Boss Huo, Lin Shuwei came to the Cat Apartment, and I told her about the missing cat. She wants to know when and where the cat went missing,” Xiang Xiaoli replied.

“The cat didn’t go missing. I was just joking with her earlier,” Huo Yu weakly typed.

What else could she do? She had to become Lin Shuwei’s cat again!!

She had acted too hastily.

She should have accumulated more happiness points before playing the disappearance game!

Xiang Xiaoli was speechless as she read Huo Yu’s message. She had no idea why Huo Yu would play such a joke on Lin Shuwei.

“So, Boss Huo, where is the cat?” Xiang Xiaoli asked.

Huo Yu thought for a moment and saw her own bag.

“The cat is in my bag. It might have caught a cold, so take it to have someone check on it. I’ll go to the restroom, and when you come in, take the bag with you to the Cat Apartment. There’s no need to knock or greet me. Give the cat to Lin Shuwei and leave the bag at the Cat Apartment. Try to comply with Lin Shuwei and trust the Cat Apartment. Also, I don’t want to see Lin Shuwei. If she wants to see me, find an excuse to turn her away,” Huo Yu sent the message and struggled to crawl into her bag along with her phone.

Fortunately, the bag she was carrying this time was a tote bag, spacious enough to conceal anything.

Just as Huo Yu entered the bag, Xiang Xiaoli knocked on the door a few more times and pushed it open.

Xiang Xiaoli came to the table and opened Huo Yu’s bag to take a look. She immediately saw a delicate and adorable little cat face, with a pair of shining blue eyes looking back at her.

“Little one, so you’ve been in here all along. You didn’t make a sound, such a well-behaved cat,” Xiang Xiaoli said as she reached out and gently stroked the cat’s head.

Huo Yu rolled her eyes and remained silent.

“Boss Huo, then I’ll go now. Call me if you need anything,” Xiang Xiaoli said towards the bathroom, carrying Huo Yu’s bag and closing the door behind her.

Huo Yu breathed a sigh of relief, grateful that Xiang Xiaoli didn’t ask her for a response.

Huo Yu’s cold hadn’t improved much, and the cat’s body was also affected, so they fell asleep on the way.

When they woke up, they found themselves in Lin Shuwei’s arms.

“Ding, Lin Shuwei has seen the host, happiness points +1200.”

Lin Shuwei’s happiness points were restored.

“Little kitty, do you still remember me? Did you miss me? Why haven’t you gained weight? You’re still so small and skinny,” Lin Shuwei hugged Huo Yu and affectionately pressed her face against hers.

During this period, Huo Yu had been in human form, so the cat’s body hadn’t changed much. It still looked thin and small.

Being held by Lin Shuwei, Huo Yu felt even more embarrassed than when she had transformed into a cat. She wanted to find a hole to hide in.

It had been a long time since Lin Shuwei had seen Huo Yu, and she missed her dearly. Now, she kept holding onto her tightly, showering her with kisses and caresses.

“What’s wrong with you? You seem sick,” Lin Shuwei noticed Huo Yu’s listlessness and sensed that something was off.

“It might be sick. We have a pet doctor here. Let’s have them take a look at her.” Xiang Xiaoli suggested, as she arranged for the pet doctor at the Cat Apartment to examine Huo Yu and prescribe medication to reduce her fever.

After Lin Shuwei fed Huo Yu the medicine, she held her tenderly, full of concern.

“Ms. Lin, I’m really sorry this time. Boss Huo, she was just joking with you. She actually really likes this cat. Maybe she wanted to keep it. She knows you’re worried about the cat and cares a lot about it. She knows she was wrong and made a mistake. I apologize on her behalf.” Xiang Xiaoli said to Lin Shuwei.

“It’s okay. As long as the cat is fine. Does Boss Huo also like cats?” Lin Shuwei felt that as long as the cat was safe, everything would be fine, and her mood had recovered.

She just couldn’t understand why Huo Yu would lie to her about the cat being lost?!

“Well, it’s a bit complicated. Boss Huo initially didn’t like cats, but then somehow started caring about them. She spent a lot of money building this Cat Apartment and took in any stray cats willing to come. She even set up feeding stations outside to feed the cats that didn’t want to live in the Cat Apartment.” Xiang Xiaoli explained.

“Ms. Xiang, what about Boss Huo? I’d like to thank her for taking care of Little Kitty.” Lin Shuwei asked Xiang Xiaoli.

She also really wanted to see Huo Yu again.

She didn’t know what Huo Yu was up to.

“Sorry, Boss Huo is sick. She has a fever and wants to rest, so she doesn’t want to see anyone. I’ll let you know when she’s available.” Xiang Xiaoli informed Lin Shuwei.

“She’s sick? Can I go see her?” Lin Shuwei felt worried upon hearing that Huo Yu was sick.

“Ding, Lin Shuwei knows the host is sick, happiness points -100.”

Huo Yu, in Lin Shuwei’s embrace, widened her eyes upon hearing this news.

She’s sick, and Lin Shuwei’s happiness points are decreasing?

If she had known, she wouldn’t have let Xiang Xiaoli inform Lin Shuwei about her condition at all!

Does she really care about her?

“Boss Huo is receiving intravenous treatment at the hospital, and she doesn’t want to see anyone. I’m sorry. Oh, Ms. Lin, I hope this incident won’t give you a negative impression of our Cat Apartment. Please continue to have the cat stay here.” Xiang Xiaoli said.

“No, it won’t. If Boss Huo likes Little Kitty, she can keep it for a few days, it’s okay. Which hospital is Boss Huo in? Is she alone without anyone by her side?” Lin Shuwei shook her head and shifted the topic back to Huo Yu.

“There are people taking care of her at the hospital. Boss Huo has a peculiar temper, so it’s better not to disturb her. She rarely gets sick, and we’re not sure what happened this time. I’ll let you know when she gets better. Thank you for your concern, Ms. Lin.” Xiang Xiaoli said.

“Alright.” Lin Shuwei felt somewhat disappointed.

“Ding, Lin Shuwei cannot visit the host, happiness points -50.”

Huo Yu couldn’t help but pinch Lin Shuwei a few times upon hearing this.

Fortunately, Lin Shuwei didn’t insist on visiting her. Xiang Xiaoli still followed her own words.

Huo Yu heard what Lin Shuwei said about keeping the cat for a few days. If only she had known, she wouldn’t have said the cat was lost; she would have said she was borrowing it for two days!

That way, Lin Shuwei wouldn’t have reduced her happiness points due to worrying about the lost cat and getting into trouble.

She would have to use this method next time.

Lin Shuwei held Huo Yu and walked around for a while. Knowing that it was Huo Yu who established the Cat Apartment, her impression of it improved significantly.

Huo Yu doesn’t have much funding now; she even personally appeared on a program to earn money, yet she still opened this Cat Apartment that barely breaks even.

She must have a kind and warm heart.

She and Lin Shuwei both love furry companions; they have a common interest!

Thinking about these things, Lin Shuwei’s mood improved even more, and she kissed Huo Yu a few times.

“Little kitty, you’ve been with Ms. Huo these few days, right? Is she cute? Both of you are equally adorable.” Lin Shuwei whispered to Huo Yu.

“Ding, Lin Shuwei knows the host likes cats, happiness points +50.”

Huo Yu felt her face warming up.

She doesn’t like cats, she doesn’t like cats!!

Lin Shuwei played with Huo Yu for a while to ease her longing. After feeding Huo Yu milk and satisfying her hunger and thirst at the Cat Apartment, Lin Shuwei had to go out because it was inconvenient to take Huo Yu out due to her illness. She could only leave her at the Cat Apartment for now.

With a few days until the start of the filming for “Doctor in Turbulent Times,” Lin Shuxiao would also be discharged from the hospital. Lin Shuwei wanted to find a house near the Cat Apartment, which was close to the film and television city, so that they could live together once Lin Shuxiao was discharged.

Lin Shuwei said goodbye to Huo Yu and, when she went out, a sapphire-blue sports car stopped at the entrance of the Cat Apartment. A long-haired woman wearing sunglasses, knee-high boots, a black pencil skirt, and a blue long coat got out of the car.

The woman held a high-quality long-haired ragdoll cat in one hand and walked into the Cat Apartment with long strides, exuding an air of confidence.

“Huo Xiao Yu, Huo Xiao Yu! Come out quickly! I heard you’re not afraid of cats anymore and even have many of them. I came to see if it’s true!” This woman brushed past Lin Shuwei and shouted as she entered the Cat Apartment.

Lin Shuwei’s steps paused. Huo Xiao Yu? Is she referring to Huo Yu?
