These photos capture the show’s vibe/aesthetic and how trainees showcase their talents and grab some screen time.
Stage/ranking set-up whenever who gets eliminated/stays gets announced. They go up to this platform when their names get called, which shows them what rank they got and their standing in the competition.
Some scenes in the novel just show them practicing (kinda) so these just show you how the show displays showing the audience their efforts.

In the novel, they use their dorm rooms as makeshift interview spots. The camera crew asks individual questions, which focuses on their faces against a pink backdrop. (pink is for the girl’s season; blue is for the boy’s as shown in the photo)
In this novel, everyone dons pink shirts provided by the show, in contrast to the ranking-based color system used in Produce 101/Produce 48.
