I Became Love Rivals With My Crush Ch.19

Inside Xianmeng Sect, lush spiritual herbs and resplendent spiritual flowers adorned the landscape. White deer and immortal cranes strolled leisurely amidst them. Just across a jade stone bridge, towering pavilions and halls rose from the ground with majestic flying eaves, presenting a picturesque and magnificent scene.

When Qu Panyan arrived, Yue Xiaomeng was waiting for her by the jade stone bridge.

While walking together, Qu Panyan asked, “What happened to our Sect Master? Did she have a fight with Sister Lingyu?”

Yue Xiaomeng replied, “I’m not sure. The Sect Master ordered me to guide you here.”

Qu Panyan couldn’t help but worry. Ever since the last incident, she knew that as soon as Lou Wuhua saw Su Lingyu, the seal on her mouth would automatically be removed, and she would start chattering non-stop, annoying Su Lingyu to the point of wanting to kill. She was afraid that if she was even a little late, Cangnan Sect and Xianmeng Sect would become enemies.

Qu Panyan urged, “Lead me there quickly!”

Yue Xiaomeng had also witnessed Lou Wuhua’s behavior, so she didn’t dare to delay and quickly led Qu Panyan there.

When Qu Panyan rushed to the Guanshan Pavilion, she saw a shocking scene—Lou Wuhua was sitting calmly across from Su Lingyu, having tea together. Occasionally, she exchanged a few words with Elder Changxing, who was studying 《Theories of Fate Marriage》 on the side. The mountains and rocks complemented each other, the flowers and trees flourished, creating a harmonious scene.

If one ignored the dark expression on Su Lingyu’s face…it was quite harmonious.

Elder Changxing earnestly asked, “When the other party is in danger, can you really sense it?”

Lou Wuhua said confidently, “Of course, I’m an experienced person. Back when I had a crush on Lingyu, I sensed it several times.”

Elder Changxing stroked his graying beard, “Then how come my master and that young man didn’t have this premonition when they were together? I can’t figure it out.”

Lou Wuhua asked, “Did An Cheng stick to Lingyu all the time when they were together?”

Changxing nodded.

Lou Wuhua clapped her hands, “There you go! With Lingyu around, how can they be in any danger? Besides, what kind of destined people are they? The heavens aren’t crazy.”

Changxing nodded, “Hmm…What Xiao Wuhua said makes sense.”

Su Lingyu couldn’t bear it any longer and finally spoke up, “Are you done? If you’re done, then get lost.”

Qu Panyan: “…?”

Aren’t you supposed to prevent her from leaving?

Lou Wuhua chuckled, “Don’t be impatient. I broke your cup but didn’t bring any money. As the head of my sect, I can’t just leave without paying. Where would I put my old face?”

She looked at Qu Panyan and waved, “Good disciple Ying Zhen is here. Come and sit next to me.”

Looking at Qu Panyan sitting beside her, she said, “I broke some things in the restaurant, but I don’t have money to compensate, so you have to stay and wash dishes.”

Su Lingyu glanced at the obedient Qu Panyan and said, “What does this have to do with her? Don’t involve the junior!”

Lou Wuhua laughed, “Hey, little heart, haven’t you heard this before? Once a master, forever a father. The father’s debt must be repaid by his son. That’s why I specially asked the most outstanding disciple of our Cangnan Sect to wash dishes for you. How about that, is it enough to compensate for your cup?”

Qu Panyan: !!!

Although being able to stay in Xianmeng Sect was something worth being happy about, she couldn’t help but complain in her heart.

God damn father’s debt must be repaid by the son!

She traveled all this way just to make her disciple work off the debt by washing dishes?!

Things have changed, the Sect Master has changed, and she has lost her conscience!

Elder Changxing looked up from his book and glanced at Qu Panyan, casually praising, “This girl is pretty good.”

Even Su Lingyu was surprised, “Lou Wuhua, is this how you act as the Sect Master?!”

With Lou Wuhua’s character, how many dishes would Qu Panyan have to wash as her disciple?!

Su Lingyu was shocked. She never thought she would be so heartless to such an outstanding disciple…

Lou Wuhua blinked, smiling slyly, “Doesn’t it make your heart flutter to have such a good girl wash dishes for you?”

Su Lingyu suddenly changed her tune, snorting, “Nonsense! If you want Panyan to stay in Xianmeng Sect, you don’t need to come up with such a messy excuse!”

She looked at Yue Xiaomeng and instructed, “Go call your senior brother Kang.”

Yue Xiaomeng didn’t dare to delay and quickly ran off.

Lou Wuhua continued to smile, “Is my little heart trying to make a deal with me?”

Su Lingyu said, “I won’t take advantage of you. Panyan will be my disciple, Linjun will be yours, and the period will be three months. Just one thing, teach him well. If, after three months, he acts the slightest bit indecent, I’ll come to you for an explanation!”

“No, please” Lou Wuhua said expectantly, “Take advantage of me, I’m willing to let you.”

The temperature in the room suddenly dropped, and Qu Panyan saw the icy and chilling Thousand Frost Sword slowly flying out from behind Su Lingyu.

“Get out!” Su Lingyu said coldly.

Outside the Observing Mountain Pavilion, Lou Wuhua stood calmly, brushing off the snowflakes on her shoulders, waiting for Kang Linjun, who had just been summoned by the Sect Master inside. She suddenly spoke up, “My good disciple, you have to work hard. The Sect Master has already done her part for you here.”

Lou Wuhua let out a heavy sigh and complained, “It’s really difficult to smash a cup in front of her.”

Qu Panyan: “…Did you do it on purpose?”

Lou Wuhua: “Mm, for my good disciple’s happiness, the Sect Master has made a sacrifice, it’s nothing.”

Happiness??

Did she happen to notice something?!

Lou Wuhua seemed to hear the voice in her heart and gently patted her soft head with a smile. “My good disciple, the Sect Master once had feelings for your sister Su Lingyu. How could she not see through your thoughts?”

She held Qu Panyan’s hand with affection and said, “My dear disciple, keep working hard, the Sect Master has high hopes for you.”

In that instant, Qu Panyan finally understood the meaning of her words. It turned out that Lou Wuhua had noticed her feelings a month ago…

Qu Panyan thought about it and realized that her liking for Su Lingyu was impossible to conceal, or one could even say it was uncontainable. Her eyes would light up and her lips would curl up whenever she saw Su Lingyu. Even the most ordinary gesture from her could explode into a beautiful fireworks show in her heart.

Just like that line she had seen before, liking someone is something that even when you cover your mouth, it will still leak out through your eyes.

Back then, when she was thinking of being solo for the rest of her life, she never understood this line and couldn’t imagine what kind of emotion it was. Now she deeply understood it—it was so damn accurate.

What kind of emotions did Lou Wuhua have back then?

Qu Panyan glanced at her from the corner of her eye, and she was still casually brushing off the snowflakes on her black robe.

How does it feel when a disciple falls for someone she had once liked?

Qu Panyan blurted out, “Master, how do you feel when you know that your disciple has fallen in love with someone you once liked?”

Lou Wuhua was taken aback for a moment, then smiled and replied, “It means that the person I liked is outstanding enough, and I would be happy that my good disciple has good taste like me. If you two can be together, I would be even happier.”

Qu Panyan’s heart softened, “Master…”

“Oh, by the way,” Lou Wuhua said, “That eldest disciple of Changxing, the daughter of the Skyfire Tribe’s chief, A Yiduo, seems to have feelings for Su Lingyu too. But it’s probably not going to work out, she’s too noisy, even more so than I was back in the day, Su Lingyu won’t like her.”

Qu Panyan: “…” Did you just have a realization about being ‘noisy’?

Lou Wuhua solemnly said, “But you must pay attention to her, because Master thinks this little girl is not simple, she might cause trouble. If she bullies you, you must tell Master, I will come and teach her a lesson myself.”

Qu Panyan said, “It’s rare to encounter a worldly Skyfire Tribe member.”

She had read about this race in ancient books. They were an extremely mysterious group, guarding the noble Heavenly Fire and worshiping the noble Holy Son. The Heavenly Fire of the Skyfire Tribe was recorded as true divine fire, the origin of all fire. The Holy Son absorbed and merged with the Heavenly Fire, nurturing it with his own body.

There were not many records about the Skyfire Tribe, all carrying an air of mystery, and no one had ever seen them. This tribe seemed to exist only in ancient books.

There was now actually a living Skyfire Tribe member in the Xianmeng Sect, and one who was even the chieftain’s daughter, which was truly impressive.

Lou Wuhua said, “Being rare is not a reason for her to bully others.”

“Master Lou.” A dignified and elegant young man walked up from behind, with a graceful demeanor and a respectful attitude, and said, “Master Lou, thank you for waiting. Linjun is ready and can leave with you at any time.”

Lou Wuhua showed admiration in her eyes, “Confident and poised, very good, then let’s go.”

Kang Linjun turned and bowed to Yue Xiaomeng, speaking solemnly, “If Junior Sister Yue sees any problems with Senior Sister Congshuang falling ill, please take care of her a bit. I, Senior Brother, thank you in advance.”

Yue Xiaomeng quickly waved her hand, “Senior Brother, you’re too polite! It’s just a small favor, I will definitely take care of Senior Sister Congshuang!”

After the two finished speaking, Kang Linjun and Lou Wuhua left together in a flash of light. After they left, Yue Xiaomeng excitedly rushed up to Qu Panyan, “Oh my god, Qu Panyan, we just met in the morning, and now we’re in the same sect! We can cultivate together in the future!”

Then she was called in by Su Lingyu and came out joyfully a while later, pulling Qu Panyan with her, “Come on, come on, the Sect Master asked me to show you around the Xianmeng Sect and get familiar with it. She wants to personally talk to the Qu family’s master about your three-month stay here.”

Qu Panyan followed her as she dragged her along until they reached the disciples’ martial training platform. On the spacious square platform, a group of disciples dressed in light blue robes were either sitting or standing, demonstrating various spell techniques that dazzled the eyes.

Among them, there was a chilly woman meditating in a corner, surrounded by a sound barrier, apparently focusing on cultivating her divine consciousness and not wanting to be disturbed by others.

Unfortunately, someone insisted on disturbing her, a charming young girl with a large silver bracelet on her wrist and a flame-shaped red earring dangling from her ears. Her watery eyes were filled with resentment.

Qu Panyan guessed that she must be A Yiduo.

A Yiduo circled around the woman’s sound barrier three times to the left and three times to the right, occasionally striking and kicking it in frustration, saying, “Kang Congshuang, who do you think you are to ignore me?”

Yue Xiaomeng couldn’t bear to watch anymore and shouted from afar, “Senior Sister A Yiduo, please don’t disturb Senior Sister Kang’s cultivation.”

A Yiduo’s anger was successfully redirected by Yue Xiaomeng. She flew over, eyes ablaze, and said, “Why does Grand Master call you and not me?”

Yue Xiaomeng replied, “Senior Sister, we don’t have the qualifications to call the Sect Master Grand Master yet.”

A Yiduo couldn’t stand anyone contradicting her. She had always been pampered and treasured, the future esteemed Saintess. The world should revolve around her. Who was Yue Xiaomeng to correct her?

She raised her hand to hit Yue Xiaomeng, but Qu Panyan quickly intercepted, trying to reason with a kind and gentle tone, “We are all senior sisters in the same sect, let’s not ruin our harmony.”

A Yiduo glared angrily at Qu Panyan, but when she saw her fresh and radiant face, she changed her target. She turned her hand and conjured a ball of flame aimed directly at Qu Panyan’s face, wanting to ruin her appearance.

Qu Panyan quickly stepped back, and the Fire Bell Silk from her sleeve shot out, piercing through the flame and hitting A Yiduo’s palm, causing her to recoil in pain.

A Yiduo stomped her foot in anger, “Who are you?”

Qu Panyan put away the Fire Bell Silk, and recalling Lou Wuhua’s words, she had no intention of revealing her identity. So she answered with a straight face, “I’m a newcomer here at the Xianmeng Sect, working in the dishwashing department.”

The author has something to say:

Qu Panyan: Seriously, believe me. It was my Sect Master who sold me out like this.

A Yiduo: You’re talking nonsense!

Yue Xiaomeng: How can Qu Panyan lie so convincingly? I want to learn…

Su Lingyu: Talking nonsense again.
