Grab The Heroine and Run Away Ch. 40.2

Under the terrace, there was a karaoke setup at the barbecue stall. Several men who had been drinking were shoulder to shoulder, singing “Give Me a Hug, Brother.

On the platform, Han Meimei connected the microphone to the amplifier and tossed it to this group of future idols. “You are not allowed to lose!”

Xu Heran followed suit, raising her hand. “No losing allowed!”

Jiang Qiong and Haya cheered, each holding a microphone. With the backdrop of the big movie screen, they began singing, “Happy, Cute Sheep, Lazy Sheep…” The remaining trainees were spontaneously and reluctantly pulled over for dancing.

“Why do I have to do the hula dance? I don’t understand!” Xu Heran put her hands on her waist, expressing her refusal to sink to their level.

Sitting quietly in a corner, Xin Nuo wore a constant smile on her face.

Haya on stage noticed and pointed at Xin Nuo, saying, “Brave comes from the heart,” “Xin Nuo, you can’t stand aside! Get up here and give us a performance!”

Xin Nuo waved her hand. “I choose to eat.”

The skewers had been marinated and assembled beforehand, so while they were running around, the barbecue was ready. Three big guys stood amidst the group of girls, a bit bashful, and presented plates with a very respectful demeanor.

“Please, help yourself. Thank you for taking care of our Laurel,” they said. “Eat, eat heartily.”

Laurel cooked even faster, with crayfish, a large plate of chicken, garlic vermicelli, stir-fried clams… From a large iron pot, dishes for three tables were served. Jiang Qiong, who was waiting with plates on the side, looked at Laurel with an expression full of apprehension.

If Her Majesty took a dislike to someone, one pot of food could definitely win them over!

For tonight’s performance, most of the trainees had come on stage with empty stomachs. Now that there was food, they hurriedly came down.

Haya picked up a milk carton and poured some into Lin Weining’s cup. “Here, fill it up, fill it up.”

Lin Weining smiled gently. “I don’t need a cup.”

“If you want to blow into the carton, it’s fine.” Haya turned around and poured milk for Cui Qi, who was hugging her arms and causing trouble. “Sister Cui, would you like some?”

Sister Cui responded calmly, “No, I came here by car.”

“Hahaha, look at what you’re saying. Just a little bit, not a problem.”

Suddenly, Xu Heran stood up, her arm around Haya’s neck, and shouted, “Police officer, it’s this person!”

Haya immediately set down the milk carton and raised her hands. “I’m sorry!”

“Hahahaha!”

Everyone burst into laughter, the joy of advancement and the sorrow of elimination mingling in the aroma of the food.

Xin Nuo looked at Xu Heran’s flushed face as she sat down and asked with a smile, “What’s wrong, tipsy from milk?”

“Cough! What are you saying!” Xu Heran slammed the strawberry-flavored milk onto the table with an air of determination. “I can at least drink two more cartons!”

Haya immediately came over for revenge. “Here, down it!”

Xu Heran burped. “Let me digest first.”

Her manager, who was watching her, quickly asked, “Feeling tired?”

“Oops! I think I can sing another song.” Xu Heran suddenly stood up, her legs long, and the small stool a bit short. As she got up, she stumbled slightly, but Xin Nuo and Haya quickly reached out to steady her.

Xin Nuo couldn’t help but smile and sigh. “Really tipsy from milk, huh?”

Xu Heran’s face reddened slightly. She stood up straight, still holding onto Xin Nuo’s hand, and playfully narrowed her eyes. “Let’s go have fun, Sis Nuo Nuo.”

“Sure.” Xin Nuo stood up and followed Xu Heran. The two of them walked to the front of the screen. Han Meimei and the other members of the band had already packed up their instruments and were tuning them.

The reflections of a few people fell onto the white screen.

Seeing Xu Heran approaching, Han Meimei’s eyes lit up, and she raised her hand. “Here?”

The karaoke below the platform was still in full swing, making quite a racket. Xu Heran snapped her fingers.

“Nuo Nuo said she’ll sing a song for us.”

Xin Nuo: “…”

“Who’s Nuo Nuo?” Xin Nuo asked calmly, “What song is she going to sing?”

Xu Heran laughed heartily and handed the microphone to Xin Nuo.

“Everybody, let’s give a big round of applause to the beautiful and sweet-voiced Xin Nuo as she brings us a song!” Xu Heran loudly announced into the microphone, “《I Really Like Xu Heran》!”

All the trainees in the seats immediately raised their hands and shouted, “Hey!”

Jiang Qiong raised her thumb, “Xin Nuo, how about singing 《Beating Up Xu Pearl Today》!”

“That’s worth a try.” Xin Nuo chuckled lightly, turned to the band, and exchanged a few words.

The members of the band raised their hands in a “thumbs up” gesture.

Xin Nuo lifted her leg, blocking Xu Heran’s path. A faint smile played on her cool and composed face as she asked, “Who told you to go down?”

The guitarist had already started playing, and before Xu Heran could even say “I don’t know how,” Xin Nuo softly began to sing.

“You were the first to notice me, the less expression I show, the sadder I am inside.”①

Her voice was like a rose buried in snow. When her jade-like fingers plucked the strings, the rose petals trembled gently, yet they held the grainy snow softly within their tender core.

Cool and extravagant, blending just perfectly.

The lively atmosphere from just moments ago suddenly quieted down. The karaoke below the platform seemed to lower its volume as well.

Xu Heran hooked a high stool with her toe and sat down, her long legs spread wide open. She smiled and tilted her head back, watching Xin Nuo who stood and sang.

“So when I tremble without shedding tears, you’ll tenderly embrace me to your chest.” ①

Xu Heran immediately opened her arms, signaling to hold Xin Nuo. Xin Nuo shook her head in disdain, turned to the side, and couldn’t help but let a smile curve her lips.

In the audience, trainees who were enjoying the spectacle clapped, some used their hands as megaphones to shout, avenging their past grievances when Xu Pearl “bullied” them. A black-haired girl facing away from the stage held up a milk carton, gazing at the distant sky for a moment. After a long while, she let out a self-deprecating sigh.

“Once again, I’m one step behind.”①

Jian Yueyin, sitting next to Song Fenghua, was taken aback for a moment. Without turning around, a gentle emotion welled up in her clear eyes. She seemed not to have heard the girl’s words. She smiled lightly, turned around, and asked Song Fenghua, “Get ready to sing your song, otherwise Ranran will come to drag you onto the stage. Be careful not to get caught.”

“Mm.” Song Fenghua placed the milk carton on the table, turned around, and looked at the girl on the stage with blue and purple eyes.

Unfortunately, her eyes were focused on someone else, never wavering.

“I want to look at the farthest place,”①  Xin Nuo sang this line and immediately pointed the microphone towards the audience. Ten young girls raised their hands and sang together, “Dancing with you, discussing dreams.” ①

“As if I’ve never been disappointed or hurt, still believing that if I dare to fly, there’s a sky like that.”①

“I want to be in the farthest place,

With the first light of dawn on my shoulder,

Having been splashed by too-cold raindrops and snowflakes,

Still persevering with a smile as warm as the sun.”①

Sasa and Youyou had red eyes, singing and crying at the same time, embraced by their friends.

As Xin Nuo continued to sing, the microphone fell into Xu Heran’s hands. The girl who had just said she couldn’t sing was now holding her phone, looking at the lyrics, and singing with a smile. Her pure voice was like a strong note infused into a shallow stream, and the other singing girls couldn’t help but follow suit and raise their voices.

The lyrics full of hope sprouted wings and soared into the night sky.

The river flowed on, and when the song stopped, sudden applause erupted from the audience below the platform. A man shouted, “Well done, sing another one!”

Xu Heran immediately responded, “Sure!”

“Get ready, big brother!” Haya stood up, “Bring on the heat, Sis Mei.”

Han Meimei stood up and raised an eyebrow.

“Up next, Yueyin!”

As the melody of  《Boundless Sea and Sky》 reverberated on the platform, crazy applause erupted from below the stage. Cui Qi looked at the members of the band with surprise.

Though they looked quite ordinary in the crowd, these three guys, with a touch of handsomeness, held their instruments as if they came to life, playing the instruments to the fullest, harmonizing beautifully with Jian Yueyin’s voice.

“Sis Mei looks so cool!” Sun Lingxi raised her thumbs and her eyes were slightly red. “Everyone looks so cool!”

“Yueyin!” Haya shouted.

In the center of the stage, Jian Yueyin, holding the microphone, sang loudly, “Still free, forever singing my song.” ②

“Walking thousands of miles.”

In the next moment, on the platform and below, by the riverside and beyond, even the shopkeepers in distant stores raised their fans in applause.

“Forgive me for this lifetime of indulgence and love for freedom,

But also fearing that one day I might fall,

Abandoning ideals, anyone can do it,

Why fear that one day it’s just you and me.”  ②

Xin Nuo suddenly looked up and grabbed Xu Heran’s hand, “Didn’t you say you can’t sing?”

Xu Heran scratched her head in confusion and smiled, “It sounds like a famous song, I’m sure I’ve heard it somewhere, I remember now.”

“I, Xu Pearl, am smart and have a photographic memory.”

Xin Nuo shook her head, her fair fingertips touched the corner of her smiling mouth.

Since Jian Yueyin, everyone let go directly, no need for stage voting, no need to consider victory, it’s all about singing whatever they wanted! If the band couldn’t play, then they would sing with their phones.

Seeing the atmosphere on the platform gradually becoming lively, Xu Heran shook her head.

During the intermission, Han Meimei, who was sipping her drink through a straw, stood on the side, smiling as she watched them fight over the microphones.

“Laurel, you’ve made some good friends,” Han Meimei said.

Laurel touched her nose.

“Oh, by the way, while you were participating in the show these past few days, we wrote a song. We wanted to encourage you. Since no one is singing right now, how about Pearl and Jian Yueyin? I’ll ask if they’re interested,” Han Meimei straightened her posture.

Laurel said in surprise, “Since when do you write songs? Just don’t give them those lyrics like ‘My unique vocal cords, I’m the best, you all can buzz off.’ That’s embarrassing!”

Han Meimei cast a disdainful glance at her, and from the corner of her eye, she noticed someone. She immediately raised her hand.

“Pearl, come on, Yueyin too!”

Laurel’s hand, raised to stop her, hadn’t even stretched out yet when she heard Han Meimei laugh and say, “Give it a try, it won’t be embarrassing to try.” Laurel’s hand remained suspended in midair, then she retracted it.

Well, let’s give it a try.

She participated in 《Starlight Girls》 precisely because she was at a dead end, holding onto the thought that if it didn’t work out, she would give up the stage. So, let’s give it a try.

Having had their fill of food and drink, everyone shouted out the songs they wanted to sing with gusto. Haya raised her hand and pointed, raising an eyebrow, “Where’s Xu Pearl? She just sang a duet with Xin Nuo, but she hasn’t sung on her own yet!”

Jiang Qiong immediately stood up and dragged Xu Heran, who had been whispering with Jian Yueyin in the corner, out.

“Go, Little Pearl!”

“Of course, I, Xu Pearl, can’t be missing from this!” Xu Heran gripped the microphone, spun around with finesse. The predawn sky was dim, and the city lights seemed somewhat subdued at an unknown time. However, Xu Heran’s blue-purple eyes remained bright, replacing the starry sky overhead, landing deep within the eyes of those looking at her.

“Music!”

Xu Heran snapped her fingers, and behind her, the drummer tossed his head vigorously, the bass guitar followed suit, and the music played. Xu Heran bounced around in the center of the stage, happily shouting into the microphone.

“Running, on this crowded racetrack.” Xu Heran pointed her finger into the distance, tilting her chin up, “Journey, it’s broad when you start speaking.”

Jian Yueyin was pushed forward by Xin Nuo, she lifted the microphone and smiled as she began to sing, “Your eyes, shining bright.”

Xu Heran continued, “Your blood, boiling hot.”

“Not daring to stop, yet also unafraid of stopping.” Xu Heran’s gaze fell on the girl who had walked many days together with her, “Because my vision, above the clouds, even further beyond the clouds.”

“Just how distant is the sky? I measure the horizon with my dance steps.” Jian Yueyin raised her voice, “Spinning, the big screen showcases my performance, pulsating, the stage lights replay my splendid moments.”

“Competing, dazzling moments, let the sea of lights flow and flicker for you.”

The two powerhouse vocalists from the training camp seamlessly sang together, “Go, fight in this world, chaos never stops! Go, conquer this planet, a multitude awaits your performance!”

“This heart never stops burning, right at this moment, it’s this moment, I’m gazing at you, setting sail for dreams!”

“La la la la, la la la,” Xu Heran raised her hand, clapping. In the audience, the ten trainees all stood up, applauding.

“Right at this moment, it’s this moment, setting sail for dreams, stars shining brightly.”

“Starlight, ah, ah~”

Xu Heran raised an eyebrow, and Jian Yueyin’s high note followed, “Shining starlight~”

“Ha, ah~” Xu Heran’s second high note blended with Jian Yueyin’s.

“Go, fight in this world, chaos never stops! Go, conquer this planet, millions await your performance. My heart beats for you, because of you, starlight shines~ You’re in my heart, starlight shines!”

At the moment the singing ended, Xu Heran smiled and pointed towards Xin Nuo, her brows and eyes curved.

Because of you, starlight shines.

“Ah ah ah ah ah!”

“A new CP has appeared, how can we not keep shipping them forward! Searching through videos, giving it our all, sugar will come to my lips! Smiling in the face of cold dishes, the CP becoming real isn’t far away! Gathering courage, moving forward resolutely, my CP definitely won’t fail!”

“Dying in dreams, startled awake, asking with a smile, who’s giving out sugar today?”

“It’s Jian Yueyin and Little Pearl! Ah ah ah! Their child’s name has already been decided! It’s Yue Ran!”

“?”

“I just took a nap, and Little Pearl was still trending at number 1. How did it become Yue Ran?”

“Ah ah ah! Last night after the stage ended, the twelve girls of 《Starlight Girls》 held hands and went for team building! They had barbecue! At the riverside in the southern part of the Hai Cheng district! They even sang songs! One of the guys who went to have barbecue thought their singing was good, recorded a video, and unexpectedly, it turned out to be Xu Heran and her group!”

“And Xu Heran and Jian Yueyin even sang a song that no one had heard before as a duet! Their chemistry was amazing! Dual vocalists are the best!”

“Sob sob sob, the relationships between my goose girls are really great. They played so late last night and took so many photos, hahaha—here, I won’t name two people who aren’t active on their own Weibo and are happily featured in other people’s photos. The All-Loving Party is content! Even such blurry photos look so good, my goose girls are really visually stunning!”

“Sasa and Youyou hugging while singing ‘It’s Not a Crime for a Daughter to Cry,’ I really wanted to cry and laugh at the same time! Sob sob sob, why can only seven of them debut! Why can’t they all debut! Ah ah ah!”

“I’m laughing so hard, a group of people getting high on milk, a certain Pearl got carried away singing by herself, even forcing the bodyguards to wave and cheer! A bunch of big guys, tall and strong, not usually one to smile, were forced to raise their hands and shake them around. I saw that video and almost died laughing!”

“In the end, it was Nuo Nuo who pulled her back, hahaha. Bodyguard: Money is hard to earn!”

“Hehehe, what’s going on, Xu Pearl?” Jiang Qiong squatted on the carpet, poking at Xu Heran who was lying on the bed pretending to be dead, and stuck her phone to her face. “Take a look!”

“Yueran CP, oh~ You even have a child now~” She made a tsk tsk sound and glanced at Xin Nuo sitting on the recliner, calmly flipping through a magazine. “You and Nuo Nuo don’t have kids, right?”

“Why not?” Xu Heran opened her eyes just a slit, suddenly raised her hand, and poked Jiang Qiong’s forehead. “Poke whoever, whoever is my daughter!”

“Bah Bah Bah!”

“It’s really a case of ‘what goes around comes around.’ On that note, I’d like to interview Xin Nuo. How do you feel about the sudden popularity of the Yueran CP? Anything you’d like to say?” Jiang Qiong squatted about three meters away from Xin Nuo, raising her phone like a microphone, asking her.

Xu Heran immediately perked up her ears sneakily, and glanced toward Xin Nuo from the corner of her eye, only to see Xin Nuo give a slight smile.

Jiang Qiong’s claws “swished” back, “Well, Xin Nuo says silence is golden, she has nothing to say.”

Beside her, Xu Heran stood up angrily, lifting a pillow high, “Only Peng Ranxin and Xin Dong, that’s my favorite CP!”

She jumped off the bed, walked over to Xin Nuo, hands on her hips, and stared for a while. Xin Nuo didn’t lift her head, her fingers pinching the page of the poster.

“Swish.”

The pages turned gently, the silent girl’s expression was subtle. Afternoon sunlight streamed through the gauzy curtains, falling on her head, her face, neck, below the thin straps, her collarbones, her clean and tight skin akin to delicate cream, bathed in a soft glow.

Xu Heran’s tongue pressed against her back teeth, she turned around, picked up her phone from the table, a hint of a smile flickered in her eyes, she squeezed onto the recliner beside Xin Nuo’s long legs.

Xin Nuo lifted a long leg, propping it on the other, not bothering to look at her.

“So crowded, Xu Heran, have you gained weight in the last two days?”

Xu Heran, who had been urged by a doctor to gain weight because she was too thin: “…”

Little Pearl’s anger level: +1.

So, a certain Pearl became even more spirited and moved upward a bit, extending one hand to embrace Xin Nuo’s shoulder, the two half-reclining against the backrest, Xu Heran’s arm through Xin Nuo’s back, both hands holding the phone up.

“Sister, look at the camera!” Xu Heran said with a smile.

Xin Nuo lifted her eyes and took a glance.

“Click.”

“Thanks!” Xu Heran finished taking the photo and immediately retracted her hand, happily going to weed out her Weibo.

Beside her, Jiang Qiong smiled with satisfaction, exited the room, and high-fived Haya standing at the door.

Peng Ranxin Xin Dong, gaining points.

Hooray!

“Use me and just toss away?” Xin Nuo chuckled, raised her hand, and took Xu Heran’s phone to see what she had posted.

“Why is there a Pearl here? Today, I’ll also work hard to eat and strive to surpass Sister Xin Nuo! All you Pearls out there, have you voted today?

The sunlight in the photo was just right, the pink Pearl sofa leaned against the white wall, two long-legged beautiful girls squeezed together, like a deliberately framed poster. The girl in loose pajamas had her pink hair spread out, her blue-purple eyes were smiling, like gems retrieved from the deep sea. Beside her, the girl in an orange tank top and jeans carefully combed her hair, tying it into a bun on top of her head.

She held a magazine in her hands, the cover of the magazine resting against her chest, the upper edge of the book against her chin, her long lashes gently raised. The shadow cast by the sun covered her white face, but her black gaze rested lightly on the smiling girl’s face.

A look that combined appraisal and impatience, tinged with a hint of disdain.

Pearl and the Knights hurriedly arrived, each carrying a small basket.

“Hahaha, Nuo Nuo: Want to compete with me, and even use my photos, tch!”

“Nuo Nuo: Go away, annoying.”

“Nuo Nuo: Go away, you Pearl who secretly keeps a dog outside!”

“Yueyin shook her head upon hearing this, ready to sever ties with Little Pearl.”

“Little Pearl: You have them outside too!”

“Little Fenghua couldn’t help but sneer and gave you a disdainful look.”

“Without thinking, put the photos into the basket, happily voted for my girl, happy! The obedient geese in business are the apples of my eye. Go for the next stage! I’m all set to snatch tickets. Also, calling me sister is too formal, call me wife!”

“Calling me sister is too formal, call me wife!”

“Call me wife!”

“…”

“Wife~” Xu Heran blurted out, got a side-eye from Xin Nuo, Xu Heran looked innocent and pointed at her phone, “They made me call that!”

“They also made you listen to me, have you ever done that?” Xin Nuo sneered.

Xu Heran immediately rubbed against Xin Nuo, “Why wouldn’t I listen, I’m very obedient.”

“Shut up, go away, annoying ghost.”

“Wah wah wah…”

Not long after, Xu Heran, who arrived later than the others, uploaded a cheerful support image.

The white Pearl tied two little pink braids, with a cute and delicate girl with black hair on her head, holding up “Give it to me” with one hand, and “Vote” with the other, dancing in joy.

The small bowl that could hold a big bowl: “Sweetie, go for it!”

Happy times are always short-lived. After the two-day break, the trainees handed over their phones and stood in the recording hall with their moods organized.

In the vast hall, now there were only ten girls, giving it a somewhat empty feeling.

Ning Yunfei smiled and waved at everyone, “Good morning.”

“Hello, Sister Feifei!”

“Dear ten Starlight Girls, our final stage is approaching. On this stage, seven out of ten of you will debut and become the new idols, capturing everyone’s attention!” Ning Yunfei’s tone was gentle, “Although three trainees will be eliminated, I know that those three who have persevered until now are equally outstanding. Your tomorrow will shine just as brightly. I look forward to the future and seeing you on stage again.”

Xu Heran nodded along with the others.

“Now, I will announce the rules for the final stage performance!”

Ning Yunfei’s tone grew serious, “For the final stage, there will be three performances. The ten trainees present here will be divided into one-person teams, two-person teams, and seven-person teams for the respective performances. Once the performances conclude, the voting will stop! The top seven with the highest votes will directly debut!”

“In this stage, the hundred-thousandth vote will be canceled. Once the voting ends, everything will be decided.” Ning Yunfei’s gaze swept over the trainees’ faces, her eyes bright, “The composition of the three teams will be decided by all of you!”

The remaining ten individuals let out a sigh of relief, exchanged glances, and a resolute smile appeared on their faces.

Finally, it had come to this.

“During this recording, there’s one more thing I want to announce.” Ning Yunfei looked at the camera, “The group name for the debut girls will be announced at the final stage. However, we are currently collecting submissions for the debut song. We welcome music producers, music companies, independent musicians, and interested netizens to submit songs to Universal Entertainment. Once a song is selected, a copyright contract will be signed, and generous compensation will be provided!”

Jian Yueyin’s eyes lit up, and she asked with a smile, “Sister Feifei, can we also participate?”

“Of course you can.” Ning Yunfei responded gently.

“Thank you.” Jian Yueyin twiddled her fingers and glanced at the people around her.

“You can, Sister Yueyin, give it a try!” Xu Heran encouraged.

Xin Nuo smiled and said, “Yes, give it a try.”

Jian Yueyin took a deep breath and nodded.

“Well then, now I will leave all the time to all of you. From now on, the program will no longer arrange additional recordings. Until the final stage, you will decide your own team assignments and the order of appearance. I look forward to seeing everyone’s performance. Trainees, I’ll see you again in ten days.”

“Thank you, Sister Feifei !”

After bidding farewell to Ning Yunfei, the ten individuals gathered in a practice room. They looked at each other, and Sun Lingxi raised her hand, “So it’s one-person teams, two-person teams, and seven-person teams! Even though those who perform alone will face a lot of pressure, they will have all the attention. But who has the courage to believe they can dominate the stage alone?”

After Sun Lingxi’s question, she looked at Xu Heran and then at Jian Yueyin. The others’ gazes also turned to them.

“I actually think Laurel has the ability to perform alone too.” Xu Heran scratched her head, “I feel like everyone is capable. Are you all lacking confidence in yourselves?”

Jiang Qiong burst into laughter, “We’ll be confident once we can banter with fans on stage like you do!”

“Our interactions are friendly exchanges. How could I possibly banter with my dear Pearl Babies? Right?” Xu Heran immediately turned to the camera, blinked, and flirted.

“Pearl has been working hard lately.” Xin Nuo suddenly spoke up, raising her hand to pinch Xu Heran’s face. Xu Heran’s efforts to gain weight had finally paid off; her face had become a bit plumper.

It felt comfortable to pinch.

Jiang Qiong chuckled, deliberately saying, “Some people are just focused on surpassing Xin Nuonuo. It’s really true, showing no mercy, cold-blooded, and ruthless.”

Xu Heran grinned playfully, pressed her hand down on the ground with a “thump,” and said, “I can be even more cold-blooded, more indifferent, more ruthless. I can even perform something brutal for you. Want to see?”

Jiang Qiong widened her eyes and immediately hid behind Xin Nuo. After a while, feeling unsafe there, she grabbed the shirts of Laurel, Jian Yueyin, and Haya. Finally, she felt a bit more at ease.

Some little pearls were pounding sandbags, and even barking dogs were scared when they saw them.

“Back to the main topic, so, who’s performing alone?” Jian Yueyin asked.

Everyone fell silent unanimously.

“Ran Ran?” Jian Yueyin looked at Xu Heran.

“Sister Yueyin, you go,” Xu Heran said with a smile, “I want to perform as a duo with Sister Nuonuo.”

Xin Nuo pushed her hair back and intentionally said, “I didn’t agree to that.”

“Hey!”

The usually quiet Song Fenghua lifted the corners of her mouth, “Otherwise, I’ll team up with Xin Nuo?”

Xu Heran looked at Song Fenghua with a “betrayed” expression. Then, Jian Yueyin chuckled lightly, “Ran Ran, don’t want to cooperate with me?”

Xu Heran: “…”

Xu Heran: O A O

The onlookers remained silent for two seconds, then burst into laughter.

“Hahaha! Quick, let’s climb in ranks now!” Haya laughed, slapping the floor, “The Woof Woof Squad is also an option! Why don’t you mention Woof Woof’s name? Are you looking down on Woof Woof?”

Jiang Qiong exclaimed, “I think the 173 combo is also good. Put the two tall ones in the middle, it’ll be more stylish!”

“You’re planting corn, huh? In that case, I choose Ning Ning!” Haya said with a smile.

Lin Weining shook her head with a smile, “Ning Ning says she refuses. Ning Ning only wants to sing in the seven-person combo.”

“What about Yueliang and Lingxi?” Xu Heran asked.

Sun Lingxi sat cross-legged on the ground, waving her hand, “The two of us can only be in the seven-person combo. Neither the solo nor the duo suits us.”

Mu Yueliang nodded.

“Alright, then we’ve decided so merrily.” Xu Heran clapped her hands.

The others followed suit and applauded.

Sun Lingxi and Mu Yueliang blinked in confusion, subconsciously joining in the applause.

Decided what? Huh?

How did they decide? Who’s teaming up with who?

“For the order of appearance, shall we go with Rock-Paper-Scissors?” Xu Heran asked.

“Sure,” Jian Yueyin said.

“Okay,” Lin Weining nodded.

Xu Heran, Jian Yueyin, and Haya reached out their hands.

Little Pearl emerged victorious.

“I’ll go last with Nuonuo!” Xu Heran said with a smile, “This way, we don’t have to go down and then come up again.”

“Lazy, aren’t you?” Xin Nuo mocked the lazy Pearl.
