The Players And The Protagonist Want To Kill Me – Volume 1, Chapter 58

Chapter 58: Lori Wants to Kiss

“That Lori…”

“M-Master, please run!”

Hellfire Salaken lowered its head to look at Lori, who was no bigger than its fist, and suddenly, a sinister smile appeared on its face. Green flames also appeared on the skull-shaped head:

“Although I don’t eat roasted bugs, but… the smell of fear on you is very delicious… Ao, damn it!”

“Who kicked the great Salaken’s butt!”

“It was me, Salaken. Don’t scare my little maid. You should respect her like you respect me.”

Sivey glanced at the sole of his boot. Just from that one kick, smoke was already rising from his boot.

In other words, although this guy had retracted the flames into his body, the surface of his body still had a high temperature.

He took a few steps forward and embraced the bewildered Lori in his arms, softly comforting her:

“Don’t be afraid, this is also under my… um, just arrived today, from the sky.”

Sivey pointed to the roof of his house, which had become a large hole connected to the balcony above.

Salaken, upon descending, kindly transformed his room into a more natural open-air loft.

“Two mating bugs…” Salaken looked disdainfully at the two humans who were getting intimate.

But he only muttered to himself in the incomprehensible Demon language.

“Is this… also under Master’s command?”

Lori sized up the giant-like Salaken, still finding it hard to believe.

“But… but, it doesn’t even look like… a person.”

Lori wanted to say “he doesn’t even look like a person,” but she felt it would be impolite, so she didn’t continue.

The last time under Master’s command, there were creature features that could be recognized as Tauren.

But what about now?

Cracks all over the body emitting scorching heat from one to two meters away, a fierce-looking head, eyes glowing with fire, an overly large stone figure? Was there really such a creature in the world?

Lori’s small head was filled with big doubts.

Just then, knights, guards from the castle, and members of the Bloodhoof Clan also arrived at Sivey’s room.

The first thing they saw was the messy room, broken bricks, an office desk turned to ash, followed by the gaping hole in the roof. Only then did they belatedly notice the two stone pillars standing before them.

Stone pillars?

After a brief silence, the guards silently drew their swords, standing in front of Sivey, while the others couldn’t hide their shock.

“Mother Earth, how could there be Hellfire here? Has Sargeras’s hand reached this universe?”

“W-what is this?”

“Ao! Damn it, more bugs! And… Thunder Bluff’s Tauren bugs!”

Salaken roared, the green flames burning on his head grew even more vigorous.

Seeing the atmosphere become tense immediately, Sivey quickly intervened, saying helplessly:

“Please calm down, everyone. This is the stone man I recruited, and he is now our companion. He won’t hurt anyone, but the premise is that you don’t touch him.”

“Am I right, Salaken?”

“Damn it! Oh no… I mean, yes, you’re right, but I am the great, smart Hellfire, not a stupid stone puppet.”

Salaken tried to preserve his dignity in front of the group of humans.

“My Lord,” Baine Bloodhoof stepped forward, his big bull-like eyes full of caution and concern. He said thoughtfully:

“Are you sure he will fully obey you? Although he is not a pure Demon, he has Demon blood flowing through him and is a construct of Demon with Fel Flame burning on his body.”

Sivey looked at Baine Bloodhoof with surprise and asked, “You seem to know each other?”

“I don’t know, but we come from the same world. In my homeland, we were forced to associate with these monsters, invading another world.”

“Thunder Bluff’s Tauren bugs, being able to serve the great Burning Legion, is your honor!”

“But now you serve the Eagle Lord.”

Baine Bloodhoof glared at the fiery rock, his lips curling in disdain.

“Damn it… Ao, I mean praise Sargeras! It is my honor, Salaken, to serve the Eagle Lord!”

Baine Bloodhoof fell silent. He looked strangely at the lump of rock before him. In his impression, even powerful Hellfire had only simple intelligence.

A Hellfire like this, clear-headed, rational, and good at flattery, was unique.

The people looked at each other as the Tauren Chieftain and Hellfire Chieftain exchanged words.

Sargeras, invading worlds, Burning Legion – though they didn’t understand, they couldn’t help but feel impressed.

But in the end, everyone accepted this terrifying ally, and they placed him in the middle of the castle fountain, replacing the statue of the Angel.

From now on, he would be the castle’s first line of defense.

Salaken didn’t need to eat, drink, or speak with humans. Being able to be a statue in the middle of the fountain was very comfortable for him.

Having wisdom and a peaceful life, rather than being a construct forever until death, was worth serving humans.

After arranging Salaken, Sivey busied himself with the guards to tidy up his messy room, replacing the burnt furniture and floor only late into the night.

The big hole in the roof would have to wait until tomorrow to be repaired.

At night, as Sivey lay in bed staring at the night sky through the roof, just as drowsiness began to set in, the little maid Lori knocked on the door, wearing a thin veil-like nightgown.

This nightgown was also exchanged by Sivey from the system’s store. He didn’t expect Lori to put it on the same night he gave it to her.

Blushing, Lori stood by the bed, looking at Sivey deliberately and asked:

“Master, it should be quite cold tonight. With a big hole leaking wind on the roof, wouldn’t the Master need Lori to keep the bed warm?”

Sivey chuckled and glanced at the little maid, then lifted a corner of the blanket, saying:

“Master has been waiting for a long time. How can Master sleep without Lori?”

Lori narrowed her eyes sweetly at the words, then happily climbed onto the bed, slipping under the covers and snuggling into his embrace.

She rubbed against Sivey’s chest and neck like a kitten, squinting with affection, then shyly murmured into Sivey’s ear:

“Master… Lori feels useless, always trembling with fear whenever she encounters monsters.”

“No, Lori is already very brave. In fact, when the Master first saw that big rock, he was more scared than you. You dared to stand in front of the Master.”

Sivey affectionately stroked Lori’s hair and held her tightly in his arms.

He silently vowed to protect this girl, who was so full of him, from any harm.

“What are you doing?”

He looked down.

The little maid leaned her body, placing one of her legs on his stomach. Her smooth jade foot lightly touched his hand as she blushed and stammered:

“M-Master… Lori wants Master to touch her feet…”

“…”

Without hesitation, Sivey gently held the cute and tender jade foot in his hand, caressing and playing with it, then leaned in and kissed her forehead.

The little maid lifted her cute and innocent face, her misty eyes full of shyness and love, reflecting the face of her beloved. Her warm breath gently floated on Sivey’s cheek, her furry tail moved in the blanket, entwining his other hand. Biting her lip, she trembled and said:

“M-Master… we haven’t kissed in a long time… Lori wants… wants to kiss, can I?”
