The person who came to Huo Yu’s place called out Huo Xiao Yu, clearly a nickname for Huo Yu.

“Assistant Xiao, where is Huo Xiao Yu? The cars are outside, but where is she?” the woman who came in asked Xiang Xiaoli.

“She started this, yet didn’t tell me! My Elizabeth also wants to come and play!” Gu Nanzhen placed the ragdoll in her arms on the sofa, touched it, and looked around.

Huo Yu despised cats the most and would always keep her distance whenever she saw one. This was also one of their points of conflict.

Lin Shuwei paused at the entrance and walked away.

“Ding, Lin Shuwei heard Gu Nanzhen’s nickname for the host, happiness points -10.”

Huo Yu saw Gu Nanzhen, but she had no strength and couldn’t be bothered. She rolled her eyes and turned around to go to sleep when she heard 006’s announcement.

“What’s wrong with you, psycho! Is there a problem with Gu Nanzhen calling me that? This foolish woman Gu Nanzhen is causing trouble for me too!” Huo Yu huffed in anger.

“You little brat, you lowly scum! How dare you badmouth my master? Get down on your knees and apologize!” Huo Yu meowed and scratched the scratching post, hearing an arrogant childlike voice.

Huo Yu turned her head to look—it was Gu Nanzhen’s ragdoll cat.

Elizabeth, the presence that Huo Yu detested.

Arrogant and rude, covered in fur. Gu Nanzhen often used this cat to intimidate her.

“Lowly? How superior are you?! You big stupid white, dumb cat! You want me to kneel? I’ll say bad things about Gu Nanzhen, so what? Gu Nanzhen, you idiot, raising a dumb cat!” Huo Yu’s fur stood on end in anger. She jumped off her bed, baring her teeth at Elizabeth.

On the other side, Elizabeth walked arrogantly towards her.

“You little brat, if you don’t kneel now, I won’t be polite to you!” Elizabeth said to Huo Yu.

Huo Yu looked at Elizabeth’s enormous figure approaching and her little heart trembled. She took a few steps back, realizing that this room had a glass door, and breathed a sigh of relief.

“How will you be impolite to me? Are you going to hit me?” Huo Yu snorted.

Elizabeth walked towards Huo Yu, but with a thud, she bumped into the glass of Huo Yu’s small room door.

“Said you were dumb, and you still don’t believe it. Does it hurt from the impact?” Huo Yu found it amusing and mocked with meowing from the other side.

Outside, Gu Nanzhen asked Xiang Xiaoli a few questions about Huo Yu. In the blink of an eye, she saw her cat crash into the glass, having a conversation with a small kitten through the glass. Both of them looked fierce and hostile.

“Do you like her? Can they play together? They both seem like they want to play together.” Gu Nanzhen went over and gently touched her cat’s head, then turned to Xiang Xiaoli and asked.

Huo Yu, who was engaged in a childish argument with Elizabeth, suddenly froze. She anxiously looked at Xiang Xiaoli and meowed in protest.

“This cat is sick,” Xiang Xiaoli said.

“Well then, let’s wait until she’s better and let them play. You be a good girl,” Gu Nanzhen lifted Elizabeth and sat beside Xiang Xiaoli, engaging in a conversation.

Huo Yu finally breathed a sigh of relief and crawled back into her own nest.

“You wait, when you come out, I’ll make you pay for humiliating me!” Elizabeth had no intention of letting Huo Yu off the hook and made threats from there.

“…Why don’t you come in then!” Huo Yu was speechless. It would be better if she didn’t come out.

“Huo Xiao Yu said she wants to participate in that variety show and needs to sign a contract. How can she sign if she’s not here? Where is she? Is she afraid to see me? Huo Yu listened on the side, rolled over, and watched to see if Xiang Xiaoli could hold her ground.

From Lin Shuwei’s perspective, it was just a cat with round, adorable eyes looking left and right at the teasing wand, appearing especially cute.

Huo Yu heard that and had no idea how Lin Shuwei found her cute.

Lin Shuwei playfully swung the teasing wand until Huo Yu got dizzy, then she put it down and gave Huo Yu a plush toy fish to play with.

Huo Yu rolled over, indicating her complete lack of interest.

Just as her inner sneering ended, she felt a mysterious force on her scalp, causing her whole body to tingle as if being electrified. Unconsciously, she squinted her eyes.

Lin Shuwei used a manually operated, noiseless scalp massager and gently moved it a few times on Huo Yu’s head. She saw Huo Yu squinting her eyes and her gaze gradually becoming hazy. Her little paws trembled, seemingly enjoying the sensation.

Huo Yu felt as if she were having a spa treatment, and her whole body became relaxed.

When Lin Shuwei stopped, that sensation instantly disappeared.

Huo Yu snorted, and Lin Shuwei resumed massaging her head with the scalp massager.

“Ding, Lin Shuwei sees the host being massaged. Happiness points +30.”

Huo Yu squinted her eyes upon hearing 006’s announcement and let out a few grunts.

When she was giving Lin Shuwei a massage, Lin Shuwei’s happiness points were about the same.

It’s ridiculous that giving massages to others can also earn happiness points!

Huo Yu continued to enjoy it.

Lin Shuwei found it amusing and didn’t bother Huo Yu much. She stopped and kissed her before putting her back in the cat bed.

Huo Yu felt exhausted and quickly fell asleep, lying down.

After Huo Yu fell asleep, Lin Shuwei continued reading the script and preparing for the shoot.

In the middle of the night, Huo Yu woke up and had 006 bring out the spare phone to continue checking in, sending messages related to Lin Shuwei, supporting her, and sending “heartwarming” private messages.

After skillfully completing the whole routine, Huo Yu finally went back to sleep.

For the next few days, Lin Shuwei brought Huo Yu along. Huo Yu didn’t have time to transform, so she could only stay with Lin Shuwei.

About three days later, it was time for Lin Shuwei to join the cast.

Lin Shuwei joined the cast and didn’t have much time. She sent Huo Yu to the Cat Apartment, and only then did Huo Yu have some free time.

Elizabeth had already been taken away from the Cat Apartment, but the tabby cat stayed.

That night, Huo Yu had the tabby cat open the door for her, and she ran to her room upstairs to transform into her human form, take a shower, and change clothes.

After feeling comfortable, Huo Yu poured herself a cup of hot water to drink, but she ended up spitting it out just as it reached her mouth.

It was too hot!

Huo Yu had tested the temperature with her hand, and it seemed perfect.

She added some cold water to lower the temperature, making it somewhat bearable.

Huo Yu didn’t pay much attention to it. She checked her schedule and realized that the next day she had to meet Gu Nanzhen for contract signing, and the timing was just right.

In the variety show 《Me and My Wealthy Sisters》, Gu Nanzhen was the initiator, and Lan Xin, who had previously invested in ‘On a Deserted Island for Six Days and Seven Nights’, was also an investor in this show.

Huo Yu needed to settle the score with Lan Xin regarding the events on the deserted island. What were the challenges set up? If it involved pairing up men and women, how did they pass the challenges? Surely, someone had to freeze to death.
