The Players And The Protagonist Want To Kill Me – Volume 1, Chapter 36

Chapter 36: Kissing Saintess

Sivey slowly calmed the Qi still boiling in his body due to Frenzy. This move of crushing and slashing had almost drained his Qi.

But the effect was also very obvious. He had made Ye Hao kneel straight down, still questioning life now.

He didn’t say any more mocking words to Ye Hao. In his opinion, Ye Hao’s performance today finally had a bit of the demeanor of a Child of Destiny.

Sivey put the Greatsword behind him and walked slowly past Ye Hao, who was kneeling on the ground in a daze, back to Dawn Town.

At this moment, everyone was still in shock, their eyes looking at Sivey varied.

The demi-humans’ eyes were evasive, mostly filled with fear, while the soldiers under Sivey’s command were fanatical and admiring.

As for the Players, they looked very excited, dancing and shouting, like it was New Year’s Day.

As if the one who had been made to kneel was not their protagonist NPC.

“Coach, that’s it, I want to learn!”

“Oh my goodness, I believe this Eagle Lord’s strike could blast out a railgun.”

“My mom asked me why I’m playing games kneeling down (╥_╥)”

“Let’s join Winterfell.”

“Don’t you want Sister Saintess anymore?”

“Women only slow down my sword drawing speed!”

“You lost, it’s time to fulfill your promise.”

Sivey walked up to Saintess Zoe, his wolf-like eyes full of malice as he looked her up and down.

“Can we…”

“No!” Sivey grinned, interrupting the fox-eared girl’s attempt to negotiate without hesitation.

Zoe was frightened by Sivey’s loud shout, stepping back repeatedly, tears already swirling in her eyes.

The Players stood by, unsure of what to do.

“Go up and stop him? Are you kidding? This guy can unleash a railgun with a sword strike. You want to risk being reduced to level 0?”

But as they hesitated, watching the fox-eared girl cower in Sivey’s shadow, a pang of sympathy crept in.

“Sigh, it’s tough being kind-hearted. Let’s just look away for five minutes, pretend we didn’t see anything.”

Players exchanged messages on the public channel, collectively deciding to ignore Saintess’s plea for help. For those five minutes, they occupied themselves—watching clouds drift by, counting ants on the ground, chatting with soldiers, cracking jokes. They hoped it would all blow over soon for Saintess.

Mainly because the Players believed that even Eagle Lord couldn’t do much in five minutes, and it would take more than five minutes for him to take off that armor of his.

“Stay away from Sister Saintess, you demon!”

“You villain, don’t you dare bully Sister Saintess!”

“If you want to harm Sister Saintess, you’ll have to step over our dead bodies.”

Something that surprised both Sivey and the Players happened. All the demi-humans in Dawn Town, trembling with fear, bravely ran over and stood in front of Saintess Zoe.

Among them were old people, young people, and toddlers who had just learned to walk.

Although they trembled with fear all over, they still firmly protected Saintess Zoe behind them.

Sivey even saw determination in their eyes.

He was somewhat surprised as he glanced at Saintess Zoe, who was being protected by the demi-humans. He hadn’t expected the fox-eared girl to be so cherished and loved by them. He had originally thought she was just a silly mascot.

But would Sivey relent?

Of course not. Setting aside Sivey’s own intentions, this was a system Quest, an opportunity for him to become stronger.

Don’t be fooled by the Players’ respectful demeanor now, as if they admired him a lot. That’s because they couldn’t beat him. If they could, they would have brushed him off long ago.

Moreover, now these demi-humans know how to protect Saintess?

When they occupied Dawn Town and settled in it, why didn’t they think about whether they would suffer retaliation from this Eagle Lord?

When Ye Hao made the bet earlier, why didn’t they think about what to do if they lost?

Although they were brave and kind, they couldn’t escape human’s mentality of relying on luck.

Everything is predestined.

Now they know to come forward? It’s too late!

Sivey looked at the group of demi-humans with a cold gaze, reaching back to grasp the huge sword behind him.

The killing intent from the previous battle in the Black River Territory had not yet dissipated. Now, it poured out all at once, pressing down on the demi-humans in front of him.

“I’ll count to three. Move aside, or I won’t mind cutting you all down like wheat.”

“Three—!”

“Two—!”

“One…”

“No!”

Saintess Zoe pushed away the demi-humans who were protecting her, stumbling and kneeling in front of Sivey, grabbing onto Sivey’s leg armor still stained with blood.

“N-no… don’t kill them… I promise you.”

She lifted her head, pleading bitterly with the man in front of her, tears slowly streaming down her clean and pretty cheeks.

Sivey pursed his lips, loosening his grip on the sword behind him with his right hand. Most of the killing intent on him also dissipated, his icy eyes warning the surrounding demi-humans.

“I just need to speak with your Saintess alone. It’ll only take five minutes. If you don’t believe me, you can wait outside the room.”

“Sister Saintess…”

“He…”

The demi-humans cast worried and inquisitive glances at Saintess.

“What the Eagle Lord said is true.”

Zoe wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes with her small hands, forcing a faint smile and comforting the surrounding demi-humans.

“We’re just going to talk about some things related to Dawn Town’s development and future, so it’s not convenient to disclose them.”

“Everyone just wait outside, just for five minutes.”

Seeing that Saintess had already set the stage, Sivey snorted coldly and forcefully lifted the weak and limp fox-eared girl with one hand.

“Make way!”

The demi-humans looked at each other. Although they were still very worried, since Princess Saintess had said so, they could only accept it.

They all stepped aside, creating a path for the man who seemed like a Demon God.

In the mayor’s mansion room, Sivey closed the door after pulling the Demi-Human Saintess inside, then roughly forced her into a corner.

“W-what are you going to do?!”

Zoe’s face turned pale, trembling with fear, her two small hands nervously crossed in front of her chest, wishing she could wrap herself up with her own tail.

“What am I going to do?”

Sivey smiled playfully, reaching out a large hand and rudely gripping Zoe’s two soft hands, then lifted them above her head.

Zoe was thus pressed against the wall by Sivey almost face to face. Her hands were held together by Sivey’s right hand, leaving only her legs and tail able to move.

She turned her face away in fear, her long eyelashes fluttering, a blush spreading over her snow-white neck and quickly spreading upwards, taking over her cheeks and earlobes.

What made her even more desperate was that she felt an extremely intoxicating breath from Sivey, which was violently undermining her will and making her want to immerse herself in it.

Without wasting any words with Zoe, Sivey, aware of the limited time, used his left hand to pinch the girl’s chin and straightened her out, then leaned in aggressively and kissed her passionately on both cheeks.

“Mm! No… stop… you can’t…”

Zoe struggled desperately, eyes widening in disbelief, tears of humiliation falling from the corners of her eyes.

“I suggest you cooperate, Princess Saintess. You wouldn’t want the demi-humans outside to die for you, would you?”

Sivey’s demon-like words and wolf-like gaze pierced deep into the girl’s heart.

She hesitated, looking at Sivey with a sad and bitter gaze, ceasing her struggles. Her body went limp as if all her strength had been drained away.

With her mental defenses down, Zoe keenly felt the irresistible aura emanating from Sivey.

This aura circulated throughout her body, bringing a tingling sensation.

Gradually, she involuntarily began to respond to the man’s kisses, her fluffy fox tail unconsciously entwining around them.

The domineering and rough kisses lasted for a full half an incense stick’s time, long past the point of unconsciousness.

Sivey felt it was about enough. Although the fox-eared girl in front of him was tempting, going further might lead to trouble.

Fortunately, perhaps because they hadn’t heard any bad noises, the Players and demi-humans outside did not come in to disturb them.

Feeling the warmth leaving her lips, Zoe, feeling a bit dazed, opened her eyes. She pouted slightly, as if she hadn’t had enough.

This time, Sivey was bewildered. He wondered if this fox-eared girl had lost her mind from his kisses?

Was there such a thing as Stockholm syndrome?

“Hey! Hey!”

Sivey’s left hand waved in front of the girl, teasingly jesting:

“Enough, or I’ll start charging for kisses.”

“Huh?”

The fox-eared girl stared blankly at Sivey, staring for a while before suddenly reacting.

Her whole body started shaking, tears swirling in her hazy eyes, her entire body turning as red as a cooked shrimp.

Sivey watched the scene in front of him in shock. In all his life, he had seen and experienced many things, but it was the first time he had seen someone turn so red. Although Lori would blush all over due to shyness, it was only a faint, pinkish blush.

This fox-eared girl’s blush was slightly lighter than a rose, and coupled with her naturally radiant skin, the scene was even more shocking.

Sivey swallowed hard. If this was…

No, he couldn’t think about it. If he kept thinking, he might not be able to leave this room today.

Sivey released Zoe, and the girl immediately collapsed to the ground like a puppet.

Then she immediately curled up, hugging her knees, her beautiful big tail curling up, leaving only her ears exposed.

Sivey felt a bit envious. Zoe’s tail was even bigger than Lori’s, big enough to cover two people like a blanket.

Feeling the girl’s heartbeat slowly calm down, Sivey knew she just didn’t know how to face him, so she kept wrapping herself up like this.

So he didn’t linger here anymore, to avoid embarrassing the girl further, he left the room without saying a word, acting like a heartless scumbag.

Regarding tax matters, they could discuss them during his next visit to Dawn Town. Shearing wool had to be done gradually, and teasing Saintess was also on the agenda.
