She Belongs To Me

Chapter 54: Extra 1

The setting sun’s afterglow covered the vast sea, and the circling seagulls turned into distant black dots. It was the height of summer, and the white cruise ship sailed through the waves.

The sea breeze messed up Lu Xingxue’s black hair. She turned around, her sunglasses covering most of her face but not hiding her upturned lips.

Jiang Ci took off her diving equipment as she walked, leaving a series of clear water marks on the deck behind her.

When she met Lu Xingxue’s gaze, Jiang Ci immediately quickened her pace, afraid of getting Lu Xingxue wet. She just smiled and kissed her, happily saying, “I’ll go wash up first!”

Lu Xingxue responded, “Okay.”

After taking a shower, Jiang Ci couldn’t wait to crawl onto the bed with her wet hair and share the footage she had taken while diving with Lu Xingxue.

Groups of fish and magnificent coral reefs appeared one after another in front of the two of them.

Lu Xingxue said, “We’re so amazing to be able to dive so deep, Ah-Ci.”

Lu Xingxue’s parents died in a sea accident, so she had always avoided going to sea since she was young. It took a lot of courage for her to decide to come deep-sea diving on this vacation with Jiang Ci.

She naturally didn’t say any of this, but Jiang Ci understood everything. She had already lost count of how many times Lu Xingxue had moved her, and she couldn’t help but want to kiss her.

Lu Xingxue responded to the kiss and continued to flip through the photos until her attention was drawn away by one photo.

It was a picture taken by a dive guide of Jiang Ci, with the light shining into the underwater cave. Jiang Ci stretched her body in the beam of light, alone in the lonely figure filled with vigorous vitality.

Just like the mermaid in the White Whale Aquarium that had captivated Lu Xingxue’s heart.

“…So beautiful,” Lu Xingxue almost held her breath.

Jiang Ci didn’t play coy: “Mm-hmm.”

Lu Xingxue looked at her with a gentle smile in her eyes, “Are you tired? Do you want to rest for a while?”

Jiang Ci replied, “I have to dry my hair first.”

Lu Xingxue said, “I’ll do it.”

The two got up from the bed. Jiang Ci had hastily put on her robe earlier, but the belt was not tied properly and had come undone with a little movement. She covered her chest and retied the belt while Lu Xingxue blew dry her hair.

Warm air blew from behind, and the hair was about seventy to eighty percent dry when Lu Xingxue turned off the dryer and set it aside.

Jiang Ci was checking her phone and said to Lu Xingxue, “There’s still no signal at sea…”

Lu Xingxue pressed her lips to Jiang Ci’s neck and ran her fingertips slowly down her arm, sending shivers down Jiang Ci’s spine. She saw their intimate position in the mirror and blushed.

“Underwater, Ah-Ci looks like a fish,” Lu Xingxue said with a teasing tone. “Is it mine?”

Jiang Ci replied, “…Mm-hmm.”

Lu Xingxue lightly nibbled on her snow-white earlobe, “Mm-hmm?”

Jiang Ci gasped for air, “It’s yours.”

Lu Xingxue turned Jiang Ci around, sat her on the sink, peeled off her nightgown inch by inch, and kissed her passionately.

Jiang Ci leaned against the mirror, too afraid to look back. She could imagine how lustful she must appear right now.

The cruise ship was docked at the port, and night had fallen. The seaside city was illuminated by dazzling lights, making it as bright as day. After dinner, the two of them strolled back to their dilapidated hotel, holding hands.

Pedestrians crowded the streets, and Jiang Ci slowed down her pace, stopping outside a café.

A piano was placed horizontally under the white wall. The piano had weathered, with its wood full of patches, and the ivory keys were nowhere to be found. Jiang Ci pointed to it and said to Lu Xingxue, “This antique piano is probably two hundred years old. The piano brand was the predecessor of our company. Production stopped after the war began, and now it has been almost two centuries.”

Lu Xingxue asked, “Can it still be played?”

Jiang Ci regretfully said, “It looks like it cannot be. It was not properly stored and preserved, just left here as a decoration.”

Lu Xingxue climbed a few notes and confirmed what Jiang Ci said. The tone was rough and unbearable. She couldn’t help but laugh and sigh, “Beautiful piano music is so intoxicating. It’s able to bring joy to people. It’s so amazing.”

“Do you think I’m amazing for being able to scuba dive or tune a piano? Am I that great in your eyes?” Jiang Ci held onto Lu Xingxue’s arm and swayed back and forth.

The neon lights shone on the two of them as the summer breeze blew. Lu Xingxue nodded and said, “You’re indescribably good.”

This was not just a compliment to her, but also a recognition of her.

In the bustling streets, Jiang Ci rubbed against Lu Xingxue’s neck and said, “I can’t believe how lucky I am to meet you. You’re the one who’s indescribably good.”

“You’re so good that I’ll cling to you for the rest of my life,” Lu Xingxue replied.

“That’s my honor,” Jiang Ci said in response.

The two whispered to each other as they returned to the hotel. Jiang Ci received a photo of Hei Yanquan from Huo Zhenzhen. She sent a video back, and Huo Zhenzhen responded immediately.

“How’s it going with Hei Yanquan?” Jiang Ci asked with a smile.

Hei Yanquan had a good temper and never rebelled. Jiang Ci was afraid that when she got home, she would receive a fat cat that had been petted bald by Huo Zhenzhen.

“I’m doing great with Hei Yanquan,” Huo Zhenzhen said, fixing her phone on a stand. Jiang Ci saw her with a bare face and messy hair, obviously just waking up.

Huo Zhenzhen hugged Hei Yanquan and lifted its front paws to gesture towards Jiang Ci. “I took it to see Xiao A’s mom last night. Oh my god, she didn’t pay attention to me all night and only played with Hei Yanquan. When I left, she even invited me to bring Hei Yanquan to see her again this weekend. Cats are better than humans.”

“Did you have fun playing yesterday, Hei Yanquan?” Jiang Ci asked.

Hei Yanquan heard Jiang Ci’s voice and meowed directly at the phone screen.

“Are you missing Mommy, Hei Yanquan?” Huo Zhenzhen rubbed its belly back and forth. “Your Mommy went to a lovey-dovey world with someone else. Come on, ask your Mommy if she’s having a great time?”

Jiang Ci: “…”

Lu Xingxue walked over upon hearing the sound and said to Huo Zhenzhen on the video: “Yeah.”

Huo Zhenzhen burst out laughing. Suddenly, while laughing, she grabbed a pillow next to her and threw it forward: “Hurry up and put on your clothes! Why are you acting like a hooligan? I’m on video with Ah-Ci!”

Hei Yanquan jumped off Huo Zhenzhen’s body and wagged its tail out of the camera’s range. Jiang Ci heard Xiao A’s voice, “I’m still wearing pants, why are you so exaggerated? Speaking like this, Sister Ah-Ci might think we’re going to…”

“Ah! Shut up!”

Huo Zhenzhen threw another pillow, and Xiao A shut up.

Jiang Ci laughed and fell into Lu Xingxue’s arms.

Huo Zhenzhen looked back at the camera: “…Ah-Ci, how much longer until you come back?”

Jiang Ci replied: “Just a little while longer.”

Lu Xingxue hugged Jiang Ci’s waist, and behind them, outside the huge floor-to-ceiling windows, the vast coast lay silent in the blurry night. The twinkling lights flickered, and the world was full of a romantic and peaceful atmosphere.
