Chapter 18: Su Ming: I Respect Him as a Man

The boys dormitory was already bustling with activity early in the morning.

A bunch of rough men who hadn’t even fixed their hair and looked like they were homeless all stuck their heads out from the windows and doors to chat with each other.

They were very excited.

They were very energised.

There were even some people who had silly grins on their faces as they kept saying things like “AWSL,” looking as lewd as uncles.

The person who had put them in such a sorry state was none other than a young girl standing at the entrance of the dormitory.

The girl stood against the wind, wearing the school uniform in a way that made her look like she was wearing a Japanese school uniform. The skirt fluttered gently in the breeze, creating a refreshing arc that flirted with the hearts of many pure men.

She was also exceptionally cute. Her baby face was as delicate as a little princess’, but there was a hint of nervousness on her face right now. Her hands were twisted together, her knuckles turning white, showing that she was using quite a bit of force.

When more and more boys appeared in the dormitory and the noise grew louder, the girl became even more nervous and shy. She couldn’t help but lower her head, her little face flushed red, looking very cute.

That scene made all the rough men’s hearts explode with cuteness.

“My god! This is so cute!”

“This old man’s heart is melting!”

“Xu Qianqian is beautiful enough to make bubbles pop, but An Zijin definitely deserves to be called someone who could rival Xu Qianqian.”

“Don’t think too much, let’s go upstairs.”

“What’s been going on these past two days? The academy’s most beautiful girl came to the boys’ dormitory for the first time, and the next day, the second most beautiful girl followed.”

“Could it be that she’s here to find someone to deliver a little note?”

Similar conversations continued to ring out, making the commotion in the boys’ dormitory grow louder and louder.

Su Ming also poked his head out from his own dormitory room. He looked at An Zijin, who was nervously standing in the wind, and his large eyes were filled with confusion.

“Ah, this An Zijin. Why is she here?”

Su Ming blinked curiously.

Su Ming was currently eating some fresh melon.

His first thought wasn’t anything but to gloat over someone’s misfortune.

Because An Zijin’s expression clearly showed she was waiting for someone. And in the boys’ dormitory, who could she be waiting for other than a boy?

So while Su Ming was gloating, as an experienced veteran, he also felt sympathy for the person who would soon come into contact with An Zijin.

Still, he was mostly gloating.

After all, there was now another person who would have to experience the pain of being under a man while covered in sweat.

This was good.

He couldn’t be the only one to experience this pain. Okay?

As Su Ming thought this, he would only lament that the goddess of the new students had been so easily flirted away by someone else.

Su Ming didn’t notice at all that Ye Bai was staring at him like he was staring at a corpse.

“You seem pretty happy,” Ye Bai said. “That’s right, you should be happy. Who could have known that you, Young Master Su, would be so capable? Yesterday you flirted with the Senior Sister, and today you flirted with the xueji².”

“Who pissed off the school beauty?” Su Ming was still in his own world of nostalgia and was a little slow to react. “He sure has some guts. Isn’t he afraid of being bullied by the school beauty’s fan club?”

Su Ming could already see the poor guy’s fate.

This was Su Ming’s honest opinion.

However, Su Ming still hadn’t realised that it wasn’t just Ye Bai who was looking at him like an idiot. Even Lei Hao was staring at him like he was looking at a fool.

Lei Hao bluntly said, “Then hurry up and go on, man.”

Lei Hao’s tone was filled with glee.

“What?” Su Ming waved a hand. “What does that have to do with me?”

Lei Hao burst out laughing at Su Ming’s words.

Only Ye Bai said, “The dormitory manager just came to our dorms.” His expression was gloomy. “It seems An Zijin asked him to come up and look for someone.”

“Look for who?” Su Ming was stunned.

A bad feeling rose in his heart.

Recalling the tearful shout he heard when Ye Bai woke him up, Su Ming’s heart began to thump.

No way!

No way, no way!

Just as Su Ming was frantically denying it in his mind, shouting, “No, no,” Lei Hao clapped him on the shoulder with a hand that was still sore from laughing too hard.

“Who else could he be looking for?” Lei Hao laughed. “Hurry up and go. Our man.”

Su Ming’s head buzzed, and he was dumbfounded.

“Looking for me?”

Su Ming pointed at himself, looking as if he couldn’t believe this was happening.

“Why would they be looking for me? Are they not looking for you?” Ye Bai was irritated by Su Ming’s dumbfounded expression and called out, “I wish I could, but they specifically said they’re looking for you, Su Ming!”

Ye Bai grabbed Su Ming’s collar and shook him as he yelled, “Tell me! What did you do? Why isn’t it just Xu Qianqian?! Even An Zijin came to the boys’ dorm to look for you!”

“Did you catch them in some sort of compromising situation and blackmail them into doing your bidding?”

“If that’s the case, then you better turn yourself in right now! Your bro here will pay for a lawyer to get you on death row!”

Well, that’s what friends are for.

Damn, damn, damn.

Lei Hao chimed in from the side. “I don’t think you caught the girls in any compromising situations. You must have used some sort of hypnosis software. As your brother, I think you should share it with us.”

Hypnosis software my ass!

“Do you think we’re living in some sort of porn game world?!”

Su Ming finally came to his senses and pushed away Ye Bai and Lei Hao, who were both going crazy. He felt a little crushed inside.

“No, I don’t really know An Zijin. Why would she come looking for me?”

Su Ming racked his brain, desperately trying to recall if he had ever run into another female vampire on a dark and stormy night.

But no matter how he tried to recall, Su Ming couldn’t find any memories of such an encounter.

“Could it be that I’m being pranked? Or is this An Zijin trying to compete with Xu Qianqian and coming to make trouble for me?”

Su Ming tried to consider all possibilities.

But soon, Su Ming tossed these thoughts out of his mind.

“This isn’t the time to think about this.”

Su Ming climbed up to the door frame and looked at An Zijin, who was still waiting outside the dormitory. His mood was completely different from earlier.

“It doesn’t matter what An Zijin wants. I can’t go see her.”

What a joke. The commotion Xu Qianqian had caused yesterday hadn’t even died down yet, and now there was An Zijin who was adored by the entire faculty and students of the academy. How many lives did he have to pacify everyone’s anger?

So, Su Ming made a decision without hesitation.

“I have to escape!”

Otherwise, he might be dead by the end of the day.

With this thought in mind, Su Ming turned and rushed toward the window.

“Don’t even think about it!”

To his surprise, Ye Bai grabbed him.

“You actually want to run? Let Junior Sister An wait for you outside until her heart breaks?” Ye Bai stared at Su Ming with red eyes and yelled, “Do you still have a conscience?!”

“I’m the one who wants to ask you that! Do you still have a brain?” Su Ming stared at Ye Bai in shock. “Are you still trying to make me go see An Zijin?”

This guy really wanted to get him killed!

“I don’t care!” Ye Bai said stubbornly. “Since Junior Sister An has come, you can’t let a little girl wait for you outside in such cold weather!”

“It’s summer right now! Cold my ass!” Su Ming cursed at Ye Bai. “I’m not going anyway! If you want to go, then you can go yourself!”

“I want to! But I can’t!” Ye Bai once again cried. “She’s not here for me. Since she’s here, I have to at least fulfil her wish of seeing you!”

“You damn fucking lick dog!” Su Ming immediately struggled.

But Ye Bai had some hidden strength and refused to let Su Ming escape.

Not only that, Ye Bai was also dragging Su Ming’s clothes while yelling at the door.

“Junior Sister An! Don’t worry! Su Ming’s right here!”

As soon as he said that, the entire dormitory went silent.

An Zijin, who was standing at the door, couldn’t help but smile. She lifted her head like she was waiting for something, looking very endearing.

Everyone saw this scene.

Therefore, everyone knew one thing.

“Su Ming?”

“Is this the same Su Ming I know?”

“I think so.”

“So An Zijin is here for Su Ming too, just like Xu Qianqian?”

No one responded.

With a moment of silence, a terrifying murderous aura began to gather.

So, Su Ming understood.
