Xu Heran tilted her head cautiously, Xin Nuo leaned against her shoulder. Her closed eyelashes resembled black butterflies, with delicately beautiful wings. “Mhm, mhm.” Xin Nuo kept on laughing. She lay on Xu Heran’s body, extending her arm and placing her palm on Xu Heran’s face, soothingly rubbing.
The small flame of annoyance within Xu Heran was extinguished with a soft “swoosh.”
“Why are you so easily comforted?” Xin Nuo, done with her laughter, found that the darkness that had been plaguing her was gradually receding, and happiness was gently flowing within her heart.
She sat up, her hair lifted by the breeze and gently cascading down on Xu Heran. The girl with the light on her back extended her hand, saying, “Come.”
Xu Heran could have easily stood up by herself, but Xin Nuo reached out. She immediately held onto Xin Nuo’s arm and sat up.
“I wanted to carry you to the bed.” Xu Heran muttered.
“Like in TV dramas?” Xin Nuo asked with a smile. She grasped Xu Heran’s right wrist with one hand and tapped her right palm with her fingers, saying, “Look at your skinny arms, I’m taller than you.”
Xu Heran immediately retorted, “I can still grow!”
Seeing Xin Nuo’s skepticism, she provided an example, “Everyone in my family is tall, and my sister wasn’t even as tall as me when she was sixteen. Now she’s a full 1.7 meters!”
Xin Nuo said with a playful smile, “That’s still the same height as me.”
“Hmph, just wait and see. I’ll definitely grow taller than you!” Xu Heran crossed her arms, making a determined declaration to Xin Nuo, who was laughing uncontrollably. “I’ll work hard to exercise my body! Abs and obliques! Then I’ll lift you up in various ways!”

“We still have a recording tomorrow. I told everyone to rest first and brought you to my room. The doctor said you likely have acute gastroenteritis and prescribed medicine for you. It’s on the table.” Xu Heran finished speaking, her eyes lighting up as she pulled out a black silk hollowed-out nightgown.

“You’re just a child, always thinking about such things.” Xin Nuo declined the nightgown, “I want your white one.”
Xu Heran immediately widened her eyes. “You actually remember that!”
Except for Xu Heran’s room, all the other dormitories had cameras because she lived alone, and her room’s furnishings were different from others’. However, she had worn the nightgown Xin Nuo mentioned once during a recording. That nightgown was loose and large, enough to wrap her hands and feet entirely, and it even had a round hat.
